At the awarding ceremony of the 2025/26 season of the Azerbaijan 2nd League in football, the "Khankendi" team, the winner of the tournament, was presented with gold medals and the championship cup. Sport24.az reports that the gold medals were presented to the team, which became the champion of the 2nd League after the Region League, by Elkhan Samadov, President of the Professional Football League, Elgiz Abbasov, Technical and Sports Director of the PFL, and Elchin Mammadov, Deputy Secretary General of AFFA. After that, the "Khankendi" team raised the championship cup over their heads.
At the ceremony, the "Quba" team was awarded bronze medals, and the "Garadagh Lokbatan" team was awarded silver medals. A special gift was also presented to the top scorer of the tournament. "Khankendi" striker Bahruz Teymurov was named the most accurate football player of the season with 27 goals.
