After the match of the XXXIII round of the Misli Premier League "Imishli" - "Karvan-Yevlakh" (1:1), the head coach of the home team, Jorge Kaskilya, answered journalists' questions. Sport24.az reports that the specialist first shared his views on the meeting:
– We have achieved the result we wanted. I would like to thank the football players, the technical staff, and every employee working at the club. Of course, I am also grateful to the fans. They traveled long distances throughout the championship and supported us. These fans will always be in my heart. I am happy to be in Azerbaijan, it was a great experience in my life. I have positive thoughts as a person and as a professional. I wish "Imishli" success. As for the game, we gave young people a chance. There were 10 Azerbaijani football players in the starting lineup. Overall, the result is fair.
– It seems like you are saying goodbye to the club and "Imishli"…
– I am returning to my homeland tonight. I can't say anything about the future.
– Are there any offers from other clubs?
– Not yet. I am thinking about my family right now.
– Which Azerbaijani player would you like to work with again in the future?
– It's difficult to answer this question. The quality of local football players playing in the Azerbaijan Premier League is high. With the abolition of the limit, the level of the championship has also increased. Local players can learn a lot from legionnaires.
– There was a lot of criticism about the Guba stadium. Are you running away from this arena?
– I don't want to talk about the pitch.
– If you receive an offer from a club that is being built from scratch in Azerbaijan, would you accept it? Or do you want a ready-made team?
– I will talk about the general, not about "Imishli". Every coach wants to work with a better squad. But every football player needs to be developed. It is difficult to give a specific answer to the question. But every coach wants to work in better conditions.
– Your name is being mentioned with "Kapaz" and "Sumgayit"…
– There are no offers. There have been many news about me in the press, but they are all wrong. There was also news that I don't want to continue with "Imishli", the conditions were not good. These are not true.
