"We didn't think such a big score would be recorded." Sport24.az reports that this was said by "Kapaz" football player Karim Lkoca in a statement to the club's press service.
The midfielder shared his thoughts on the Premier League's XIX round game in which they won against "Turan Tovuz" with a score of 5:2:
"Let's be honest, nobody really expected this result. True, we went to the field to win. Until then, I was able to score in cup matches, but not in the championship. I had a chance to distinguish myself in the meeting in Tovuz and I was able to make maximum use of the episode. I experienced wonderful feelings scoring in the derby. It was a special day. My teammate Jamal Jafarov gave a productive pass and participated in scoring the goal."
The Moroccan-born Spanish player said that the team will achieve its goal:
"As a team, we prepared well during the winter break, we tried to gain optimal form. The goal is to stay in the Premier League. We will be able to cope with this. It is possible for us to set other tasks in the continuing part of the championship."
Lkoca added that everything satisfies him in Ganja:
"I am very happy here. I work with a head coach who always gives me comfort and confidence. The Azerbaijani championship is a strong competition. The adaptation process was a bit difficult at the beginning of the season. But the people in the club and my teammates always helped me. We are diligently preparing for the next game to make ourselves and our fans happy. We will try to win in the meeting with "Sabail"."
