Barcelona's new winger Karim Adeyemi has stated that he is not afraid to compete with fellow winger Lamin Yamal for a spot on the team.
Sports.Biz reports that Adeyemi has transferred to the Catalan club from Borussia Dortmund.
"- Are you afraid of competing with Lamin Yamal for a spot on the team?
- No. I'm not afraid of any player. I know that if I give it my all, I'll have a chance to play.
- I think you want to return to the national team. Can playing for Barcelona help you achieve this?
- I think so, but I'll have to prove it on the field. Only I can decide whether or not I return to the national team. I'm confident that if I play well, I'll be there," - Adeyemi is quoted as saying by "Mundo Deportivo".
In the 2025/2026 Bundesliga season, the 24-year-old Karim Adeyemi has played in 28 games, scoring seven goals and making four assists. He has also played in nine UEFA Champions League games, scoring three goals and making two assists.
