"Kapaz" football club has held talks with a Serbian specialist for the position of head coach.
Idman.Biz, citing sportinfo.az, reports that the unnamed Balkan coach arrived in Azerbaijan at the invitation of the club's management. He first met with the "Kapaz" management in Baku, and then went to Ganja to get acquainted with the conditions at the club.
The parties discussed the prospects and conditions of possible cooperation. The club stated that no final decision has been made yet. The Ganja representative has focused on several candidates, and the list includes both local and foreign coaches.
The final decision of the "Kapaz" management is expected to be made within the first ten days of June. The club is trying to resolve the head coach issue before the new season.
It should be noted that Azer Baghirov coached "Kapaz" from October last year to May this year. Although he kept the team in the Premier League, the parties could not agree on extending the contract.
