Julian Alvarez, a striker for Spanish football club Atletico Madrid, wants to continue his career at Barcelona.
Sport.Biz reports that the Argentine player will speak directly with the management of Atletico Madrid and make another public statement to achieve his transfer.
Alvarez believes that the Madrid club did not fulfill its promise to negotiate if a beneficial offer is made. Therefore, it is noted that the 26-year-old striker is ready to take a tougher stance on the transfer issue.
Barcelona considers Alvarez a priority transfer target for the attacking line. The Catalan club will wait for the player's next move before deciding whether to make a new and higher offer.
Note that the management of Atletico Madrid has repeatedly stated that it has no intention of selling Alvarez.
