"Barcelona" plans to strengthen their attack with a new player in the summer transfer window. According to Sport24.az, the main target of the Spanish champion is Julian Alvarez, who plays for "Atletico".
"Barcelona" has agreed on the terms of a 5-year contract with the Argentine striker. The world champion has accepted a salary offer of 18.5 million euros.
After reaching an agreement with the player, "Barcelona" continues negotiations with "Atletico". The Catalans have sent a 90+10 million euro offer to the Madrid club for the 26-year-old forward.
It should be noted that Julian Alvarez scored 20 goals and provided 9 assists in 49 appearances for "Atletico" in the 2025/2026 season. The Argentine national team member's contract with the club runs until the summer of 2030.
