Minnesota United and Colombia national team member James Rodriguez recalled his time at Bayern. Sport24.az reports that the experienced footballer stated how boring German language lessons were for him back then:
"I was lucky in my first year in Germany. Because both Jupp Heynckes and Carlo Ancelotti spoke Spanish. The next season Robert Kovac came. Every coach has their favorites, but I wasn't one of them. He wanted the players to cycle for 30 minutes after training. Then I asked him: "Why am I training like this? To compete in the Tour de France?" After all, I am a footballer. I also didn't like German language lessons, I fell asleep at that time. I don't like reading".
