The Iranian national football team held its first training session at the hotel's pool in Tijuana after arriving in Mexico for the World Championship.
Sport.Biz reports that the Iranian team continues its preparation for the tournament in Mexico. The team was initially supposed to be based in the US state of Arizona, but due to visa issues, the training base was moved to Tijuana.
The Iranian team will face New Zealand, Belgium, and Egypt in the group stage. The team's first match will be against New Zealand on June 15 in Los Angeles.
