The friendly football match between Iran and Gambia has ended.
Idman.Biz reports that the game took place at the "Mardan" stadium in Antalya, Turkey. The match ended with a 3-1 victory for the Iranian national team.
The first goal of the match was scored by African team defender Omar Colley at the end of the first half, in the 42nd minute. Aria Yousefi equalized in the 47th minute. In the 59th minute, Iranian defender Ramin Rezaeian gave his team the lead. In the 68th minute, striker Mehdi Taremi scored Iran's third goal.
It should be noted that Iran will participate in the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. Their opponents in Group G are New Zealand, Belgium, and Egypt.
