Former defender of "Milan" and the Italian national team, Ignazio Abate, has been appointed as the new head coach of "Torino".
Sport.News reports that the news has been announced on the club's social media channels.
The manager has signed a contract with the club until the summer of 2028.
During his playing career, Ignazio Abate played for "Milan", "Napoli", "Empoli", "Torino", and several other teams. He also played for the Italian national team. Abate's previous coaching role was at "Juve Stabia" in Serie B.
"Torino" finished 12th in Serie A last season. They are seven-time Italian champions.
