The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) will pay the winning club approximately 1.2 million euros in the final match of the national cup.
Idman.biz reports that this amount was announced by the publication "Marca".
After an 11-year break, "Barcelona" and "Real Madrid" will face each other in the final of the Spanish King's Cup.
According to the source, the losing team in "El Clasico" will earn approximately 1 million euros. This amount is mainly formed from the sale of broadcasting rights for television platforms.
"Barcelona" and "Real" will receive additional amounts from box office revenues. It is expected that more than 50,000 tickets will be sold for the final, with prices ranging from 72-270 euros. After deducting organizational expenses, the amount to be obtained will be divided between RFEF and the finalists of the tournament, which may result in them earning approximately another 1 million euros.
It should be noted that the match to be held at the "La Cartuja" stadium in Seville will start at 00:00 Baku time.
