According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, however, it will not be able to stay in Kolkata for long.

In addition, the Indian "Messi" statue has caused numerous complaints from local residents, and engineers have analyzed the fiberglass and iron structure and deemed the statue "dangerous."
The reason is quite simple: it sways in strong winds. Its dismantling will create serious difficulties for construction workers, as it is very close to the highway and metro station.

But no one plans to take the statue down – the Kolkata authorities have guaranteed that it will be moved to another location.
