In the 31st round of the Turkish Super League, "Genclerbirligi", fighting to stay in the league, achieved an important victory by defeating "Kocaelispor" 1-0 away.
Idman.Biz reports that the capital's representative finally ended their winless streak after ten games. Metehan Mimaroğlu scored the only goal that brought three points to the home team in the 34th minute from a penalty in the match held at the "Eryaman" stadium.
With this result, "Genclerbirligi" (14) increased their points to 28 and moved away from the relegation zone. "Kocaelispor" (11) remained at 36 points.
