Ukrainian national team defender Vitali Mykolenko's name has appeared on the transfer agenda of Turkish club "Galatasaray," and the Istanbul representative is considering a possible transfer of the player.
Idman.Biz, citing "Fotospor," reports that the "Galatasaray" management wants to formalize the transfer of the 26-year-old player as early as January. This is due to the fact that Mykolenko's contract with "Everton" expires at the end of the season.
Earlier, the media reported that the player could leave the English club as a free agent in the summer.
According to the source, the possibility of Mikolenko being exchanged for Fulham defender Anthony Robinson has also been discussed as an alternative option for Galatasaray.
In the current season, Vitali Mykolenko has appeared in 16 matches in all tournaments and has not distinguished himself with a goal or an assist. According to Transfermarkt, the transfer value of one of the most valuable players of the Ukrainian national team is 25 million euros (approximately 46.25 million AZN).
