Former Turkish national team and Fenerbahçe player Alper Potuk has been penalized.
According to QOL.az, the press service of the Football Federation of North Macedonia reported this.
The 34-year-old winger, who plays for the country's "Gostivar" club, has been suspended from football for 2 years.
This was due to captain Alper Potuk instructing the team to leave the field before the end of the match and go to the locker room in the "Gostivar" - "Rabotnicki" match to protest the referee's decisions. The Turkish president of the same club, Enes Usta, also received the same punishment.
It should be noted that "Gostivar" was given a technical defeat in that match and 9 points were deducted from its score. The team is currently 4th in the tournament table with 48 points.
