Former Latvian national team footballer Andrey Prokhrenkov has died.
Report reports, citing local media, that the 48-year-old former midfielder was diagnosed with a malignant tumor at the end of last year.
It was decided to take him to a clinic in Germany to improve his condition.
It should be noted that Andrey Prokhrenkov played in three matches at the 2004 European Championship.
