Andzas Paraskevas, former player of the Greek national team and "Olympiacos", has died at the age of 49.
According to Idman.Biz, Paraskevas began his professional career in 1993 at "Pandramaikos".
He signed a contract with "Xanthi" in 1995, and in 1998 he moved to "Olympiacos". With this club, he repeatedly won the Greek Championship and the Greek Cup, and also participated in the UEFA Champions League.
In 2003, Paraskevas signed a contract with "Doxa", and in 2004 he returned to "Xanthi". In 2007, he rejoined "Olympiacos". Paraskevas played for the Greek national team from 1999. He made his debut on February 5 in a friendly match against Belgium. Although he participated in the qualifying round of the 2004 European Championship, he was not included in the final squad for the tournament. He also participated in the 2008 European Championship.
