The mini-football tournament dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, held among the faculties of AzTU within the framework of the UEFA "Hat-Trick" program, jointly organized by AFFA and Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), has come to an end. Sport24.az reports that in the match for the 3rd place held at the "Sportster" mini-football grounds, the team of the Faculty of Information Technologies and Telecommunications defeated the team of the Faculty of Transport and Logistics with a score of 5:4 and won the bronze medal.
In the final match, the team of the Faculty of Metallurgy and Chemical Technologies defeated the team of the Faculty of Economics and Management with a score of 5:1 and became the winner of the tournament.
The winning team was awarded a cup by AFFA, and the top 3 winners were awarded with relevant medals. At the tournament, Seymur Hajiyev, a player of the Economics and Management team, was awarded the "Best Player" award, and Farid Mikayilov, a player of the Metallurgy and Chemical Technologies team, was awarded the "Best Goalkeeper" nomination.
The cup was jointly presented to the winning team by Farrukh Ismayilov, head of the AFFA Mass Football Department, and Rashad Aliyev, vice-rector for finance and economic affairs of AzTU.
