Flamengo's head coach, Filipe Luis, has signed a new contract with the club that will last until December 2027. Insider Fabrizio Romano announced this on his social media account, according to Sport24.az.
Under Luis's leadership, Flamengo won the Brazilian championship this year.
Also in November, the team, under his leadership, won the Libertadores Cup by defeating Palmeiras 1-0 in the final.
It should be noted that thanks to this victory, Flamengo qualified for the Club World Cup, which will be held in 2029.
