Idman.Biz reports that the match was scheduled to start on May 24 at 22:00 Baku time. However, a clash occurred between fans of the Turin clubs outside the stadium. After the incident, police detained eight "Juventus" fans.
There are injuries as a result of the incident. It is reported that one of them is in serious condition, but not life-threatening. According to AP, the person who was seriously injured is a "Juventus" fan.
After this incident, "Juventus" fans asked the players not to play during the team's warm-up exercises. After negotiations with captain Manuel Locatelli and other players, "Juventus" ultras demanded that the match be postponed. They also stated that they were ready to take the field if the game started. AP also wrote that "Juventus" ultras wanted the match to be postponed in order to support the injured fan.
"Torino" fans, on the other hand, collected the banners and showed silence. As a result, it was decided that the match would start at 22:45 Baku time.
