Former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra has shared his thoughts on Pep Guardiola's departure from Manchester City.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to Goal that the former French footballer said that he was not happy about Guardiola's departure and that he has great respect for his work.
"I'm sad. I'm sad to see a true coach go. I have so much respect for his work. Why should I be happy? The structure of this club is stronger than any player or coach. So, guys, don't rejoice in this. First, don't rush to celebrate, I can't imagine City collapsing after this," said Evra.
He called Guardiola a great coach and emphasized that it is a pity for football to lose such a specialist:
"It's sad to see such a great coach leave us. I don't know if he will stay in the Premier League or go somewhere else. It's a pity that football is losing Pep Guardiola."
It should be noted that Manchester City lost to Aston Villa 1:2 in their last Premier League match with Guardiola.
