European football federations are objecting to FIFA's plan to sell part of the World Cup's commercial rights to external investors.
İdman.Biz reports, citing "Sky News", that European federations will hold an extraordinary meeting this week. The meeting will discuss the possibility of boycotting the World Cup if FIFA President Gianni Infantino continues to implement the plan.
It was also reported that the English Football Association was not informed about FIFA's initiative in advance.
Note that earlier, UEFA and former FIFA President Joseph Blatter also strongly criticized the idea of selling the World Cup's commercial rights.
