Erling Haaland, the striker of England's "Manchester City" football team, has commented on the memes that went viral about him during the 2026 World Cup.
Sport.Biz reports that the Norwegian national team player didn't use his phone much during the tournament, but after the World Cup, he saw a lot of funny videos and pictures about himself.
"Memes are just crazy, there are a lot of them. I open my phone and I see memes all the time. It's very funny," Haaland said.
He particularly liked the meme made based on his frightened look while eating, as well as the memes related to Vinicius.
Recall that Haaland scored seven goals in the World Cup. Norway defeated Brazil 2-1 in the 1/8 finals and lost to England 1-2 in the quarterfinals, ending their tournament run.
