German team "Nuremberg" has signed a new player.
QOL.az reports that the club's website has published information about this.
Nuremberg has added Bayer's 17-year-old central striker Artyom Stepanov to its squad on loan for the 2025/26 season.
Smetanov is a graduate of the Ukrainian team "Shakhtar". The 1.92-meter-tall football player, who is a member of "Bayer's" youth team, has also been involved in the main team this season and has appeared in 2 Champions League matches.
He scored 10 goals in 10 games in the German championship among players under 19.
Let us remind you that the striker of the Azerbaijani national team, Mahir Emreli, also plays in "Nuremberg". It has not yet been clarified whether the football player, whose contract will expire this summer, will remain in that team.
