Bournemouth striker Eli Kroupi has undergone successful surgery after suffering an ankle injury during preseason training in Austria.
Sport.Biz reports that the 20-year-old player returned to the UK for surgery earlier this week and will be out for an indefinite period. The club's medical and sports staff will support the striker during his rehabilitation.
"Everyone at the club wishes Eli a speedy recovery and looks forward to his return to the pitch", the team said in a statement.
Last season, Kroupi played in 35 games and scored 13 goals. He is the club's top scorer in the Premier League for the 2025/26 season.
