"Every head coach working in the Premier League was inexperienced when they first started. You gain experience by working. When you form the team well, you inevitably achieve success."
These words were said by head coach Elgiz Keremli, who parted ways with "Shafa."
He noted that he was looking forward to his debut in the Premier League.
"I was expecting to debut as a head coach in the Premier League with 'Shafa,' but a different decision was made. It is not possible for me to continue as an assistant in the club where I was the head coach. My own goal is to continue my work as a head coach. Because my goal has always been to work as a head coach in the Premier League," he said in an interview with futbolinfo.az.
The specialist said that he accepted the offer from "Shafa" at the time because of the project's prospects:
"When I received an offer from 'Shafa,' I saw that it was a good project and accepted it, and I thought that I could achieve my goal by achieving successful results in this club. Everyone has goals and ambitions. My ambition is to work as a head coach. There could be no question of any principle here. I had already prepared a plan for the team for the Premier League and submitted it to the club management. Time will tell about the development."
Finally, talking about his future career, Keremli said that he is open to offers from ambitious clubs:
"If I receive an offer from ambitious clubs in the Premier League or the First League, I am ready to consider it."
