Forward Donyell Malen has spoken about the reasons for his permanent move to "Roma".
Idman.Biz reports that the Dutch footballer had been playing for the Italian club on loan from Aston Villa since January 2026. After the season, Wolverhampton announced the transfer of the forward.
"Of course, the status of "Roma" also played a role, as well as the ambitions of the club and our coach. After talking to him, I immediately felt needed and at the center of the project," - said Donyell.
Last season, Malen played 18 matches in the Italian Serie A, scored 14 goals and provided two assists. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is 35 million euros.
