Difficulties faced by Nakhchivan teams penalized for technical defeat have been revealed

The reason for the problem faced by the Nakhchivan teams, which were penalized with a technical defeat by the AFFA Disciplinary Committee yesterday, has been determined.

Sarvin Heydarov, the coordinator of the Nakhchivan Football Federation, told "Report" about this.

The official of the organization said that the games in the Nakhchivan zone were held in accordance with the regulations:

"We are currently discussing this issue. In the Nakhchivan zone, almost 99 percent of the 128 games have taken place. There were problems in only three matches. Some of them did not take place due to lack of numbers. For example, the weather was cold and some parents did not allow their children to play. Some were delayed due to certain problems, so the match was not held. You know that according to the Statute, if a team does not arrive at the game on time, it is not allowed to play. All other matches were held in accordance with the Statute. The referees were also appointed by AFFA. There are no problems with the organization".

He emphasized that the teams facing technical defeats will play in the next games:

"Of course, we are worried when penalties are given. As a federation, we are working to win those teams and players. We will try to ensure that all the next games take place".

It should be noted that UGIM (Ordubad) and UGIM (Babek) teams in the AFFA U-14 League faced a technical defeat with a score of 0:3 due to the non-holding of the game due to their failure to appear at the appointed time. The UGIM team of Sadarak district, which plays in the AFFA U-13 League, was similarly punished due to the lack of sufficient numbers in its squad.
