Didier Deschamps, the head coach of the French national team, is among the candidates for the head coach position at "Real." The French press has reported this, according to Sport24.az.
Deschamps will leave the French national team after the 2026 World Cup. Former "Los Blancos" head coach Zinedine Zidane is considered the main candidate to replace him. It was previously reported that a verbal agreement had already been reached between Zidane and the French Football Association.
Under the leadership of Didier Deschamps, the French national team won the 2018 World Cup. At the 2022 World Cup, the "Roosters" won silver medals.
It should be noted that "Real" is currently led by Alvaro Arbeloa. The 43-year-old specialist replaced Xabi Alonso in January.
