"Deportivo" will play in La Liga for the first time since 2018. Sport24.a reports that the team secured second place in the tournament table after a 2:0 victory over "Valladolid" in the 41st round of the Segunda.
"Deportivo" has collected 77 points and will not fall behind "Almería" (71 points), who is in third place.
Thus, the representative of La Coruña has won the right to play in La Liga in the 2026/27 season. The club had not played in La Liga since being relegated from the elite in the 2017/18 season, and between 2020 and 2024, they even played in the third division.
