Spanish football club "Deportivo" is back in La Liga.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to the club's official website that the La Coruña representative has formalized its promotion to the Primera in the 2025/2026 season.
"Deportivo" achieved this success after an eight-year break. The team spent four years of that period in "Primera RFEF", which is considered a non-professional level of football.
This is "Deportivo"'s 12th promotion to La Liga in its history. The club has equaled Betis' record in this indicator.
It should be noted that "Deportivo", founded in 1906, is one of the nine clubs that have become Spanish champions. The representative of La Coruña formalized its return to the elite in the 120th anniversary season.
