Former Italian footballer Alessandro Del Piero has made a statement. Sport24.az reports that the former midfielder praised Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, a member of PSG and the Georgian national team:
"Khvicha has done great things this season. If there wasn't a World Cup, he would have been a major candidate for the "Golden Ball". He scored a lot of goals for PSG, made productive passes. He is one of the main contributors to the team's championship."
Khvicha was named the player of the season in the Champions League. He scored 10 goals in 16 matches in the tournament.
