Italian football club Juventus is considering Fiorentina goalkeeper David de Gea as a transfer option.
Idman.Biz reports, citing Goal, that the Turin representative initially wanted to add Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker to the squad. However, since the Merseyside team did not want to part ways with the Brazilian goalkeeper, Juventus began searching for an alternative. De Gea is considered one of the realistic options for Juventus, with experience in major tournaments.
The Spanish goalkeeper has once again come into the spotlight with his performance at Fiorentina. De Gea's emotional message to the club's fans at the end of the season has raised questions about his future. However, no official transfer announcement has been made by either Juventus or Fiorentina.
According to Transfermarkt, the 35-year-old goalkeeper's contract with Fiorentina is valid until June 30, 2028. His market value is estimated at 3.5 million euros (7 million AZN).
It should be noted that De Gea has been playing for Fiorentina since 2024. He previously played for Manchester United for many years and gained great experience at the English club.
