Concerns have emerged in the US regarding ticket sales in the lead-up to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
İdman.Biz reports, citing "Newsweek", that ticket demand for some tournament matches in the US is lower than expected. Analysts attribute this to FIFA's pricing policy.
According to reports, the most unsold tickets for group stage matches are in Atlanta. There are currently 5414 tickets available in this city. Philadelphia follows with 4402 tickets, Los Angeles with 4230 tickets, and San Francisco with 4217 tickets.
It is noted that high ticket prices and a dynamic pricing model are causing dissatisfaction among fans.
The 2026 World Cup will be held in the US, Canada, and Mexico.
