English club Chelsea's revenue from the sale of academy graduates has exceeded £250 million in the last three years.
Report reports with reference to the BBC that this became a reality after Armando Broxa's transfer to Burnley, another representative of the Premier League.
The transfers of Noni Madueke, Corce Petrović and other players have increased the net profit of the Premier League representative. The club plans to increase its revenue to £300 million this summer.
In addition to academy graduates, the sales of Mason Mount (transferred to Manchester United for 55 million euros), Ian Maatsen (transferred to Aston Villa for 37.5 million euros), Conor Gallagher (transferred to Atletico Madrid for 34 million euros) and Lewis Hall (transferred to Newcastle for 28 million euros) have also significantly increased Chelsea's budget.
The London club has also spent £1.25 billion on new players in the last three seasons.
It should be noted that Chelsea was previously fined £26.7 million for failing to comply with UEFA's financial fair play rules. It was reported that if the club does not comply with financial fair play rules in the following seasons, the amount of the fine will increase to £51.2 million.
