The qualifying round matches of the European Women's Volleyball Championship have been held.
Idman.biz reports that the leaders in 5 of the 7 groups have been determined based on the results of the third round.
Germany, Belgium, Slovenia, Spain, and Greece, who secured group wins ahead of schedule, have qualified for the final stage of the European Championship. Romania and Montenegro have also confirmed their participation in the EC-2026, which will be hosted by Azerbaijan, Turkey, Czech Republic, and Sweden. However, whether they will be group winners or runners-up will depend on the matches of the final round.
The last round of matches will be held on August 10.
It should be noted that in addition to the group winners, five of the seven teams that will take second place will qualify for the European Championship.
