"As in every season, winning the national cup is one of our goals this time as well." These words were said by "Zira" football player Ceyhun Nuriyev in his statement to Sport24.az.
The 23-year-old midfielder stated that they will fight to the end to win the title. He spoke about the 1/4 final stage match of the Azerbaijan Cup against "Araz-Nakhchivan":
"Our games with this opponent are always difficult. We have already forgotten the last match we won in the championship. As a team, we are focused on tomorrow's match."
Nuriyev also touched upon the game against "Neftchi" in the XXI round of the Premier League: "Whatever happens, regardless of its current situation, the opponent is "Neftchi". They have dangerous and strong players. This match will also be difficult and interesting."
It should be noted that the "Araz-Nakhchivan" - "Zira" match, which will be held on February 6, will start at 16:00.
