Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has entered Premier League history.
İdman.Biz reports that the Portuguese footballer set a new record by reaching 21 assists in the 2025/2026 season. Fernandes assisted Patrik Dorgu's goal in the last match against Brighton.
With this, he surpassed the record of Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne. Both footballers were previously joint holders of the record with 20 assists in a Premier League season.
It should be noted that Fernandes was chosen as the best player of the season in the Premier League a day earlier. The 31-year-old midfielder has been one of the key players in Manchester United's qualification for the Champions League this season.
