Brazilian football club Botafoqo wants to bring Zenit's striker Luis Enrique back to the team.
Sport.Biz reports, citing ESPN, that the Rio de Janeiro representative is working on the transfer of the Brazilian footballer who played for them in the 2024-2025 season.
It is reported that Botafoqo owes Zenit for the transfer of Arthur in 2025. Therefore, the club plans to offer the Russian representative to exchange the midfielder Danilo and two more unnamed footballers for Luis Enrique.
Zenit does not consider the 25-year-old winger unsellable and is aware of the player's desire to return to Brazil. Luis Enrique's transfer value is reportedly 35-40 million euros.
The Brazilian footballer has been playing for Zenit since January 2025. During this period, he has played 48 games in all tournaments, scoring 8 goals and making 7 assists.
Luis Enrique's contract with the Russian club is valid until the end of 2028. According to Transfermarkt, the player's current market value is 24 million euros.
