German goalkeeper Aleksandr Nübel has joined Beşiktaş.
According to İdman.Biz, the Istanbul club has officially confirmed the transfer of the 29-year-old goalkeeper from "Bavaria".
Earlier it was reported that the two sides would sign a three-year contract. According to media reports, the Munich club will receive 6 million euros for this transfer, and bonuses can potentially reach 11 million euros.
Nübel is a product of "Paderborn"s youth system. In 2015, he moved to "Schalke 04" and five years later signed a contract with "Bavaria". However, he could not prove himself in the "Bavaria" squad. From 2021 to 2023, he played for "Monaco" on loan, and then played for "Stuttgart" in the Champions League for three seasons.
Note that Beşiktaş has not been able to become the champion of Turkey in the last five years.
