A new football player has been called up to the Azerbaijan national team, consisting of football players under 21 years old, who will be in training camp in Baku from May 28 to 30, and in Isparta, Turkey from May 31 to June 10. Sport24.az reports that Mustafa Kamara, the midfielder of the Belgian club "Sent-Truiden", has joined the U-21 national team camp.
The 18-year-old left winger played a total of 19 games and scored 2 goals in the "Sent-Truiden" U-18 team in the 2025-2026 season.
As part of the preparation in Turkey, U-21 will play a friendly match against Bahrain on June 6 and against the corresponding age group team of Kyrgyzstan on June 9.
It should be noted that Mustafa Kamara is the son of Abdulkader Kamara, who wore the uniform of "Gabala" in 2007-2012. Mustafa was born on March 3, 2008 in Azerbaijan.
