"Bayern Munich" has parted ways with midfielder Leon Goretzka on the X social network.
Lent.az reports that the footballer will leave the team after his contract expires.
"8 years, 16 titles. A legacy. Thank you for everything, Leon. Your path will remain a part of our history," the club said in a statement.
31-year-old Leon Goretzka has been wearing the Bayern jersey since 2018. Together with the club, he has been a seven-time German champion (2018/2019, 2019/2020, 2020/2021, 2021/2022, 2022/2023, 2024/2025, 2025/2026), a three-time winner of the German Cup (2018/2019, 2019/2020, 2025/2026) and a four-time winner of the German Super Cup (2018, 2020, 2021, 2025).
In addition, Goretzka won the UEFA Champions League (2019/2020), the UEFA Super Cup (2020) and the Club World Cup (2020).
