Algerian national team midfielder Ibrahima Maza has moved from Herta to Bayer.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, the press service of the Leverkusen club reports that an agreement was signed between the parties until 2030.
Maza played 32 games for Herta in the current season of the second Bundesliga. He has seven goals and five assists. It was reported that Bayer's first summer transfer could be 12 million euros. The 19-year-old graduate of the Herta academy turned down offers from Milan and Porto in the winter, preferring to stay in Germany.
It should be noted that Xavi Alonso's players are the current champions of Germany. Bayer, who scored 67 points in 31 games in the current Bundesliga season, still has a theoretical chance to win the championship title.
