Juilan Alvarez, the striker of Spanish football team "Atletiko Madrid", remains one of the main transfer targets for "Barcelona".
İdman.Biz reports that Hansi Flick's team has offered 100 million euros (193 million AZN) for the 26-year-old player. The Madrid representative did not accept the offer. "Mundo Deportivo" previously wrote that "Barcelona" did not want to pay more than 100 million euros for Alvarez.
"Barcelona" president Joan Laporta stated that the club has made an official offer for Alvarez and the decision depends on "Atletiko Madrid". He emphasized that the Argentine wants to leave the team, and at the same time, the Catalans' offer is not timeless.
It is reported that Deko and Hansi Flick are interested in the player's transfer. However, if an agreement is not reached, "Barcelona" will turn to alternative options. The Catalan representative does not plan to take a big financial risk to satisfy "Atletiko Madrid".
Note that the CEO of "Atletiko Madrid", Miguel Angel Gil Marin, stated that the club does not intend to sell Alvarez and will not agree to offers of 150 or 200 million euros either.
