The Azerbaijan national team consisting of football players under 21 has started a training camp in Baku.
Idman.Biz reports that the preparation process took place at the National Teams Training Center. The first 15 minutes of the training were open to media representatives.
The football players first performed warm-up exercises. Then the training process continued with various tactical and technical exercises.
One of the highlights of the training camp was Lorenzo Mezzotero's first training with the national team. The football player, who plays in the U-19 team of the Italian club "Sampdoria", participated in the team's preparation process.
Midfielder Mustafa Kamara, who was invited to the national team from the Belgian football club "Sent-Truiden", will join the camp tomorrow.
It should be noted that the preparation process of the U-21 national team will be carried out in Baku until May 30. From May 31 to June 10, the team will continue its training camp in Isparta, Turkey.
As part of the preparations in Turkey, the Azerbaijan national team will play two friendly matches. The U-21 national team will face Bahrain on June 6, and Kyrgyzstan on June 9.
