Our national team's head coach, Aykhan Abbasov, has announced the squad for the upcoming training camp. The inclusion of Elvin Jafarguliyev in the list was met with some surprise. Jafarguliyev, who is not playing for his club and has been sent to the reserve team for indiscipline, has sparked discussions about his call-up to the national team.
Idma.Biz, referring to sportal.az, reports that the head coach of our national team, Aykhan Abbasov, shared his thoughts on the matter.
"He was one of the best in both the Champions League and the national team this season. He was among the best selected in the Champions League and was selected as the best in the "FIFA Series" for the national team. We understand "Qarabag", the club is right. Because it is more important than anything else for a football player to be disciplined. But we approached it in such a way that we cannot lose a player like Elvin Jafarguliyev, how many players like him do we have. The last month has been very difficult for Elvin himself. Although he played in the reserve team, we were monitoring him so that he would not lose his form," the head coach emphasized.
Aykhan Abbasov confidently stated that Jafarguliyev will find a new club:
