Tigres striker Andre-Pierre Gignac has ended his professional football career.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, the 40-year-old striker has decided to leave the world of football at the end of this season.
In Europe, Gignac is best known for his performances at Marseille, where he played 188 games and scored 77 goals.
In 2015, the French footballer decided to move to the Mexican club Tigres, where he continued his career in subsequent seasons. He played 445 games and scored 222 goals.
The striker won five Mexican championships and one CONCACAF Cup with Tigres.
