- It was an important match for us. Our point difference with this opponent was equal to three. We wanted to rise to seventh place. We knew it would be difficult. Nevertheless, we fought well. We had more goal episodes. But "Shamakhi" took advantage of the opportunities and won.
- Although the opponent opened the score, you secured the equalizer. What prevented you from keeping the score?
- We came out for the match to win. We didn't show a bad game as a team. We just couldn't take advantage of the last episodes. We also did not take advantage of the moments when we were one-on-one with the goalkeeper. As a result, the opponent came to our goal 2-3 times and played more accurately. We deserved at least a draw.
- Did the defeat of your main rival "Sabail" the day before make you complacent?
- No. I wouldn't say that. We also want to be in higher positions. If we finish the season in a higher place, this is additional motivation for us. We go to every meeting to win.
- There are five rounds left until the end. Is it generally possible for "Sabail" to catch up with you?
- Yes. Anything can happen on paper. There is nothing impossible. For this reason, one should not be complacent. We understand this as a team. No one can say that we are 100 percent in the Premier League. For this reason, we are trying to achieve maximum results.
- In the next round, you will face "Zira". What will be the goal in this game?
- "Zira" is one of the best teams in the country. It is a difficult opponent. We are aware of the seriousness of the game. We will have more fans. We will do our best for points and points.
- "Kapaz" fought to stay in the championship this season. What should be the goal for the next season?
- We were not so rich in terms of budget this season. That's why we fought to stay in the championship. I believe that we will be better next season. We hope so. If the budget is normal, we can fight for better places.
- Your contract expires at the end of the season. Have there been any new offers?
- No. There is nothing yet. I am from Ganja, this is my home team. If there is an offer, we will sit down and talk. I hope it will be beneficial for both parties. I think there will be negotiations about this at the end of the season.
