Ruslan Huseynov, head coach of "Aghdash," playing in the Azerbaijan II League, commented on his 5-match disqualification after the match against "Shahdag Gusar" in the XXII round.
In a statement to "Report", the expert said that they are constantly under pressure in games.
He also mentioned that he made mistakes:
"Teams in lower places like us are always under pressure and stress. My character is such that I can't stand injustice. Maybe my actions may seem unprofessional from the outside. But those who think so should put themselves in my place. I am not just the head coach in "Aghdash", I am responsible for everything. I have taken on a great responsibility. I am old enough to clearly understand mistakes or bias. It's just that sometimes a person can't control themselves. I admit that I made a mistake in the game with "Shahdag Gusar". The referee made a mistake, and I expressed my protest harshly. But I didn't insult anyone. But I was right in whatever I said in the match against "Fuzuli", for which I was previously punished. Because they showed concrete bias against us. I have always ended up in this situation because I told the truth."
He said that "Aghdash" has financial problems:
"We can barely keep the club afloat with the budget allocated by AFFA. That's why the referees make the decisions they want. There was bias against us in the game with "Fuzuli". There have been mistakes in other games as well. They make decisions against us very easily."
The head coach does not think the appeal will be useful:
"In general, I have promised not to protest anything anymore. Because it is useless. Most of the referees have not played football, so they do not understand such situations. It's not just about knowing the theory. In the first round, we prepared 8 video reels of referees' mistakes and sent them to AFFA. I see that nothing has changed. Therefore, we have no faith that anything will change after the complaint."
It should be noted that the Disciplinary Committee added 5 more games to R.Huseynov's previous punishment for insulting the referees in the match against "Shahdag Gusar". The committee also punished the head coach with a 5-match ban on April 18 for the same reason.
